Encouraged and supported by millions of viewers worldwide, on May 3,2015 102,800 athletes from all four corners of the globe ran together and raised awareness and €4.2 million for Wings for Life and its single mission: to end spinal cord injury.
After 70km running next to 2014’s runner up, Lemawork Ketema won the global race for a second time when the Catcher Car ended his race at 79.9km. In Japan, Yuko Watanabe sailed home to victory in Takashima after completing 56.33km.
